Chef in My Pocket is a directory connecting you directly with personal chefs, cooks, bakers, food trucks, and food vendors, including farmers market vendors. Discuss purchases and services directly with each provider.

1. Search for free, without signing up. Search by city or ZIP code and distance, using your home, event venue, or vacation destination.
2. Find a chef, baker, or food vendor who fits your occasion. Explore their services, background, specialties, and photos when available. Check their service area and discuss availability and guest capacity.
3. Plan the details together. Contact the provider directly about your menu, baking order, food products, or event service, preferences, dietary needs, quantities, budget, and venue. Agree on pricing, scheduling, preparation, and any shopping, cleanup, pickup, delivery, or setup they offer.

From an intimate wedding dinner to a custom cake or fresh pastries at your vacation rental, the details are personal to you. Bakers may offer cakes, cookies, pies, breads, pastries, dessert tables, holiday treats, gift boxes, or baking lessons. Each chef or baker sets their own services and prices; confirm lead times and arrangements directly. Discuss allergies and cross-contact before agreeing to dietary adaptations.

This is a place to showcase your culinary background, training, and services, whether your experience comes from a school, a restaurant, or a family kitchen.

Let clients know which occasions you serve, from wedding gatherings and vacation meals to custom cakes, celebrations, and recurring cooking or baking. Describe your specialties, service area, capacity, order lead times, and any pickup, delivery, or lessons you offer so clients can start a useful conversation.

Food trucks, pop-up food stalls, and farmers market vendors can describe menus, products, markets attended, seasonal offerings, event services, serving capacity, lead times, and setup needs. Clients should confirm current market dates, locations, stock, and event requirements directly; you can optionally share an exact public map pin in your profile. Other pins use approximate ZIP centers.

Chefs, cooks, bakers, food trucks, and food vendors all register through the chef membership and use the same profile and dashboard. Add optional photos of your food, products, truck, or stall. New chef registrations can publish for free until a visitor opens their public profile from search, then have seven days to start a paid membership before the listing is hidden. Your profile stays saved and payment can restore visibility. Existing accounts keep their current membership rules. Choose monthly or annual membership in your dashboard.
